The Studio's Collection is crafted from calabó plywood, selected for its warm natural tone and fine grain. As light reflects through the wooden planes, the material gently tints the illumination, becoming part of the atmosphere it creates.

Light shaped through reflection.
SPIN began with a simple question: how can a lamp diffuse light without relying on a traditional shade?
Instead of enclosing the light behind fabric, SPIN uses a sequence of thin wooden planes to redirect it through reflection. Each plane rotates around a central axis, creating rhythm and depth while shaping the way light moves through the structure. The silhouette recalls the familiar outline of a traditional table lamp, establishing a quiet dialogue between typology and reinterpretation.
A lamp that shapes light through structure.
The structure reverses the logic of a conventional table lamp. The upper planes create a denser volume around the light, while the open base allows it to circulate through the geometry.
The layered geometry creates a changing relationship between solidity and transparency, allowing light to move through the structure while revealing its depth.
Plywood, shaped into planes.
SPIN requires a material that can remain thin while maintaining its stability. Plywood allows the planes to achieve this through its cross-laminated structure.
Its natural veneer also becomes part of the experience of the light, giving the reflected illumination a warm, material character.

SPIN is part of the studio’s ongoing collection. The standard version remains available as an enduring expression of the design, while occasional limited releases explore variations in wood, color or surface treatment.
